Lime And Honey Dressing

May 28, 2009

Recipe for Lime & Honey Dressing over Salad

Ingredients:

  • Really, you don’t know?
  • Lime
  • Honey
  • Also, I like a sprinkle of salt, and all sorts of things in my salad, like lettuce, tomatoes, apples, nuts, and avocados.

Directions:

Fix yourself a bunch of salad vegetables together in a bowl.  I personally think avocado and tomato are a must for this particular dressing.

Think to yourself, “Oh crap. I don’t have any dressing and am sick of EVOO and vinegar.”  Look around.  Locate a lime and some honey.  Maybe some spices from the cupboard.

Depending on the size of your salad, cut a lime in half and squeeze all the juice out of it all over your salad.  Next, drip some honey (a teaspoon, maybe?) over your greens.  Sprinkle in stuff that sounds good, like sea salt or other spices, and mush the whole darn thing together.

Looks like this:

I wish you could tase this!

I wish you could taste this!

Just try it, it’s good!
