Gratitude Pudding

Serving size: serves everyone!


  • 1 open heart
  • 1 or more writing utensils
  • 1 journal or notebook or grocery store receipt


Get your journal, notebook, or other random scrap of paper. Sit down in a quiet, happy place, one where you won’t be bothered for a few minutes. (If you have pets, children, a spouse, or a roommate, you may need to lock yourself in the bathroom or head to the attic. ) Take your open heart and ask it what it’s grateful for.  Try to think of at least 15 things.  If you’re feeling creative, write each item in a different color, or draw a picture to go along with the list.  If you’re not feeling creative, just work on feeling grateful.  The end product might look like this:
